Affordable Housing:
Committee goal is to find ways to help
the community by addressing Affordable Housing issues.
Committee works to counsel and educate prospective
homeowners. May participate in fundraising, outreach
and other special projects.
Meets the 1st Wednesday each month @ 10:30
a.m.
American Home Month:
Annual May home improvement project. Members donate time, expertise
and labor and join efforts with partners in the business community
to help a neighbor in need. Committee works to improve the
exterior of a local homeowner’s property. Underscores our
commitment to the improvement and enjoyment of our County.
Meets as needed January – May.
Awards/Events:
Plans and sponsors annual Awards event. This celebration recognizes
both REALTORSâ
and Affiliates. Committee also plans other special FCAR events.
Meets as needed to plan events.
Budget & Finance:
Formulates annual budget in conjunction with business and strategic
plan. Reviews committee budget requests, monthly financial
statements and makes recommendations for budget revision as
needed. Accounting/financial background required.*
Meets as needed.
Communications:
Concentrates on newsletter publication and works to create a better
informed business environment. Devotes time to enhancing the image
of the REALTORS®. Keeps up-to-date with new technology
and emerging communication options.
Meets the 1st Tuesday @ 1:00 p.m.
Community Service:
This committee is the community service arm of the Association.
Coordinates fundraising projects and special community service
events. Members volunteer and/or organize regular volunteer hours
at the Soup Kitchen and other community locations.
Meets the 1st Wednesday each month @ 11:30 a.m.
Education:
Plans and implements on-going continuing education classes for
REALTORS®. Sponsors seminars and plans supplemental
training classes designed to address the needs of all licensees.
Meets the 1st Wednesday each month @ 9:00 a.m.
Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity:
Deals with local housing issues, particularly those affecting
minorities, low and moderate income families and the disabled. May
sponsor community awareness events.
Meets the 2nd Wednesday each month @ 10:00 a.m.
Grievance:
Receives ethics complaints and arbitration requests and is
responsible for the preliminary review and screening process.
Requires full-time REALTOR® with three or more years of
experience. *

Informed Professional:
Designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of FCAR members by
offering free, non CE seminars covering a wide array of topics
covering personal and business skills.
Meets the 1st Wednesday bi-monthly @ 1:00 p.m.
Legislative/ Political Affairs:
FCAR’s voice in local and state politics. Members may attend county
and state meetings. A liaison is appointed to attend MAR’s
meetings. Monitor and notify membership of local, state and
national issues concerning the industry.
Meets every Monday @ 8:30 a.m during legislative session and as
needed at other times.
Membership:
Plans and conducts monthly membership meetings. Coordinates annual
trade show, election and installation of officers and chooses the
recipient of the Affiliate of the Year Award. Designs programs to
focus on member recruitment and retention.
Meets the 2nd Monday each month @ 9:30 a.m.
Model Forms:
Creates and revises local contract addenda and forms as necessary.
Meets the 2nd Thursday each month @ 9:00 a.m.
Professional Standards:
Enforces Code of Ethics by following established hearing process.
Minimum 3 years as full-time REALTOR® required. Minimum
one year experience on the Grievance Committee.

RPAC:
Helps educate members on RPAC and coordinates RPAC fundraisers.
Meets as needed.
YPN:
Young Professional Network – “Bringing energy and innovation to the
real estate industry.” YPN helps young real estate professionals
excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to
become involved in four core areas: REALTOR®
associations, real estate industry, peers and community.
