FCAR Mission Statement
The mission of the Frederick County Association of REALTORS® is to support and enhance its members’ professional objectives and adherence to the Code of Ethics. The Association will achieve its mission by providing quality education for members, promoting professional and ethical behavior, and fostering a positive image within our community. As we look to the future, we look forward to setting goals to assist our members, affiliates, other REALTORS®, and the communities we serve.
FCAR is committed to our community and we strive to promote the role of REALTORS® to the public. Our members work with legislators to be involved in the political process and protecting property rights. FCAR works closely with Maryland REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® to achieve these goals.

FCAR works diligently to provide quality services to our membership. We also offer professional designation programs such as the Graduate REALTOR® Institute and Certified Residential Specialist. All courses are offered to members and non-members. In addition to an outstanding educational program, FCAR offers its members a weekly newsletter that is filled with association information, helpful tips, reminders, and other pertinent information. Our association holds monthly membership meetings on the first Thursday of the month and has many active committees in which association members serve on.
